The new terminal will be the first of its kind in the United States- a state-of-the-art facility designed specifically to support the construction, assembly and deployment of wind turbines for offshore wind projects. Due to the enormous weight of wind turbine components, this terminal has been engineered to rival the strongest port facilities in the world, with load capacities of up to 20,000 psf. This terminal will handle mobile cranes, high-volume bulk, breakbulk and container shipping, as well as large project cargoes.
