Enjoy the beautiful coastline and venture offshore on a ferry or excursion boat from the Port of New Bedford, with convenient boarding locations at State Pier and Fisherman's Wharf.
The Port offers visitors safe and convenient parking close to the docks with free shuttle service.
Before you set sail or after your journey, there is so much to see and do, from visiting the world's largest whaling museum to eating the world's freshest seafood (try our scallops!). The historic downtown district features a variety of ethnic restaurants, galleries and key attractions.

State Pier
Departure location for SeaStreak Martha's Vineyard and Cuttyhunk Ferry Company Best available parking is at the Whale's Tooth Parking Lot Map of State Pier
Fisherman's Wharf
Departure location for Cuttyhunk Water Taxi Map of Fisherman's Wharf Daily parking is available on Fisherman's Wharf (permit required) and overnight parking is available at Whale's Tooth Parking Lot. For monthly or annual passes, call the HDC at (508) 979-1456.

Attended outdoor parking is $12 per day with a free round-trip shuttle every 10 minutes to the ferry terminal. Open 24 hours. The shuttle also stops in the city's Downtown Historic District.
